Small Appliance Review-George Foreman Grill

7/14/2013

Almost everyone is thinking about ways to eat healthier now days including myself. .I borrowed a George Foreman Lean Mean Fat Reducing Grilled Machine  Model #GR10AS that I have been using to test out before I buy one for myself.  This model will cook for 1 or 2 people. So far I am very pleased with the results.
I've cooked burgers, hot dogs, sausage/brats and bacon-yes I said bacon. Each time I cook on it it amazes me how much fat comes out the meats.  Unless you over cook them (which I have) they still come out juicy inside. It also makes great grilled veggies too. Since I cook for three it takes a little longer with this model so I would upgrade to a bigger model such as
George Foreman GR144 144-Square-Inch Nonstick Family-Size Grill, Silver
it has more surface space to cook on so I wouldn't have to cook in batches.  The only thing that I don't like about the grill is that it only has one temperature so if you don't keep an eye on it then things can burn fairly quickly. All in All I give it 2 thumbs up because it works/cooks good and is fairly easy to clean. So I will be adding one of these to my appliance collection....psst don't tell my hubby he thinks I have to many now. LOL!!  Oh and I guess I better return this one to its owner, I'm sure they are missing it too.
